    The Opportunity

Join United for Global Mental Health as our Multimedia Producer and help drive the global mental health agenda forward. In this new role, you will be the bridge between our evidence-led policy work and what our key audiences see and feel, by crafting content that influences and moves them. You will lead the creation of bold, professional-grade multimedia assets that amplify our advocacy and help to secure funding. If you are a creative storyteller driven to make mental health advocacy unforgettable, we want to hear from you.

    About Us

United for Global Mental Health is dedicated to creating a world that enables good mental health for all. We draw on our expertise in policy, advocacy, and financing to work with organisations who share our commitment to driving mental health up the political agenda – and securing additional funding for mental health at national and global level. We founded and act as the secretariat for the Global Mental Health Action Network, an open coalition of mental health professionals of over 10,000 individuals and organisations across 170 countries.

    About You

This is a high-impact role designed to serve as UnitedGMH’s and GMHAN’s in-house creative engine. Following the development of our new Communications Strategy, this position will focus on producing bold multimedia content. You will be responsible for elevating the visual identity of the organisation, ensuring that our evidence-led advocacy is translated into world-class video, data visualisation, and graphic design that captures the attention of global decision-makers, advocates and donors.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. High-End Video & Audio Production

Signature Podcast: Lead the end-to-end production of the new UnitedGMH ‘podcast clips’ always-on product, including recording, editing, and the creation of high-quality “social-first” video clips.

Staff Commentary and Thematic Films: Coach and directly film UnitedGMH experts and partners to produce professional, timely commentary and thematic films that cement our reputation as sector leaders.

Field Storytelling: Capture and edit evergreen Global Mental Health Action Network (GMHAN) member stories and policy case studies during global advocacy moments (e.g., World Health Assembly, UN General Assembly) to build a powerful library of movement-building content.

    2. Graphic Design & Data Visualisation

Evidence Translation: Work closely with policy leads to turn complex data into bold visualisations that make mental health statistics instantly understandable and moving.

Brand Guardianship: Act as the lead designer for UnitedGMH assets, including reports, to ensure digital assets consistently meet a “memorable thought leader” standard. This role requires a high-quality design track record utilising professional design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite); we are seeking an original creator, not a ‘Canva designer’.

Donor Communications: Create bespoke, high-quality creative assets for major donor and partnership moments (e.g., Wellcome, Pinterest, lululemon).

    3. Digital Growth & Website Optics

Always-On Paid Ads: Design, test, and deliver creative assets for “always-on” paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta and LinkedIn to drive GMHAN network growth, advocacy awareness, and donor prospecting.

Website Upheaval: Lead on the visual “optics” and user experience (UX) of the UnitedGMH website, ensuring it functions as a high-performing advocacy hub.

Channel Innovation: Support the Comms Officer and Comms Advisor in creating visually engaging content for the workstreams they deliver.

    Competencies & Skills

    • Multimedia Expertise: Advanced proficiency in video editing (e.g., Premiere Pro, CapCut), audio production, and the Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
    • Creative Translation: The ability to take “dry” policy evidence and transform it into a compelling visual narrative that triggers action.
    • Strategic Targeting: Understanding how to tailor creative content for specific high-level audiences, including government ministers and global health journalists.
    • Self-Starter Output: Able to manage a high-volume production schedule and deliver high-quality products with limited supervision, sometimes while travelling for global events.
    • Travel: Willingness to travel internationally to support at global events up to 5 times per year for up to a week at a time.
    • Technical Proficiency: Experience with podcasting platforms (e.g., Riverside) and paid social ad platforms.
    • Dynamic Adaptability: Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, fluid environment with evolving processes and shifting priorities. We are a globally-distributed, collaborative, friendly team, but we move quickly and organically; you will thrive if you enjoy working across multiple projects simultaneously, building relationships with various stakeholders, and bringing creative structure to a busy, fast-moving landscape.

    Nice to have

    • Motion Graphics: Experience in professional motion design and animation to bring static data, reports, and digital campaigns to life.
    • Sector Expertise: Demonstrable experience delivering high-quality communication materials specifically related to international development, global advocacy, global health and/or mental health.
    • Ethical Content Production: A clear track record of remotely commissioning and managing local photographers and videographers for global event coverage and case study collection, strictly adhering to ethical communication and informed consent principles.
    • Additional language skills: Note this position requires fluent English.

Unfortunately, we are not able to recruit team members in the following countries/regions: Afghanistan, Belarus, Central African Republic, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Myanmar (Burma), North Korea, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine (specifically the occupied regions of Crimea, Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhya), Venezuela, Yemen, and Zimbabwe.

For non-UK candidates: Please note that you would be hired via Deel as an Employer of Record.

    Interviews:

Interviews will be conducted remotely. There will be 2 interview rounds and a task to complete.

    How to apply:

To apply, please submit your cover letter, outlining how you meet the responsibilities and candidate profile, and a CV, via the Charity Job site.

  • Chief Executive Officer

Ending child marriage. Realising girls’ rights and futures.

Girls Not Brides is a global partnership with a singular purpose: to end child marriage. We envision a world where girls in all their diversity decide if, when, and whom to marry and where their rights and futures are fully realised.

To achieve this urgent goal, we’ve built a movement of more than 1,400 grassroots, national, and international organisations across nearly 100 countries. We know we can achieve more together than we ever could alone, which is why we mobilise, equip, and influence our ecosystem to address the political, social, legal, and economic conditions that allow the practice to persist. Inspired by shared purpose, we will influence systems change, harness collective power, and build a future free from child marriage.

We are seeking an inspiring and dynamic Chief Executive to lead Girls Not Brides through its next phase. This is a rare opportunity to guide a global partnership with deep reach, strong credibility and the potential to accelerate lasting progress towards a world where child marriage is history. As Chief Executive, you will be the external face, strategic leader and organisational head of Girls Not Brides. Reporting to the Board, you will set direction, strengthen performance, sustain critical partnerships, and ensure the organisation has the internal clarity, culture and capability to deliver. You will represent Girls Not Brides with governments, funders, multilateral institutions, civil society partners and the wider movement to end child marriage, while opening new partnerships, allies and resource streams.

Leadership of Girls Not Brides is an opportunity to bring conviction, judgement and humanity to one of the defining girls’ rights challenges of our time. You will be an accomplished external-facing civil society leader, with deep fluency in girls’ rights, gender or a related development field, strong political judgement, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the credibility to engage across grassroots organisations, governments, funders, faith and cultural leaders, and multilateral spaces. Above all, we are seeking a values-driven leader with an unwavering commitment to ending child marriage, a belief in collective strength, and the informed agility to lead in a complex and changing landscape.

If you are an exceptional leader with the conviction, credibility and strategic clarity to help realise a future free from child marriage, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Girls not Brides has retained the services of Perrett Laver to help identify the widest possible field of suitable candidates and to assist in the assessment of candidates against the requirements for the role.

The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) was first launched in 2013 by CIFOR-ICRAF, with core partners including UNEP, the World Bank, and funded by the Government of Germany, the Government of Canada, the Government of Luxembourg, and the Global Environment Facility GEF. Today, the GLF – with 35 of the world’s leading development and environmental organizations engaged as Charter Members – has become the world’s largest knowledge-led forum on sustainable landscapes. Since its inception in 2013, the GLF has connected more than 25,000 organizations, 1.3 million youth, 100 governments, and millions engaged from 185 countries, while cumulatively reaching more than 4 billion people through social and traditional media.

Global Fund for Children (GFC) works to build a world where all children and youth are safe, strong, and valued.

Join us in our mission to power the potential of young people

    About Global Fund for Children
Global Fund for Children (GFC) partners with community-based organizations around the world to help children and youth reach their full potential and advance their rights. We provide flexible funding, capacity development, and a network of global connections to strengthen locally led, community-rooted work that creates lasting change. Our mission is to transform the lives of children and youth worldwide by partnering with grassroots organizations advancing justice, equity, and opportunity.

GFC is a global organization with staff across multiple regions, working collectively to support partners in more than 34 countries around the world.

    Consultancy Overview
GFC is a trust-based intermediary fund supporting grassroots partners across 42 countries to build a world where children and youth can thrive. We are in an active period of organisational learning — deepening our Theory of Change, building out an outcomes management infrastructure, and asking harder questions about whose knowledge counts, what accountability really looks like across power-differentiated relationships, and how evaluation can serve movements rather than extract from them.

This consultancy will be for a 6-month duration from July 2026 through December 2026, and the expected level of engagement will average 120 hours per month. We are seeking a seasoned learning and evaluation practitioner who understands that data is political, that knowledge is always situated, and that the best evaluative work deepens the agency and self-determination of partners to cover for our senior manager during an extended leave. You will hold both rigour and relationship — committed to quality, honest about uncertainty, and oriented toward the flourishing of the communities at the centre of our work.

    Scope of Work:
General L& E support:  You will contribute to GFC’s external reporting and funding development — drafting or strengthening Learning and Evaluation components within proposals, collating evidence for donor and influencing reports, and helping the team articulate the value and complexity of intermediary work to a range of institutional and individual funders. Critically, you will bring an evaluative eye to this work: ensuring that what we claim reflects what we know, that uncertainty is named rather than hidden, and that the communities at the centre of the work are not reduced to data points. You understand that change is a long-term process that cannot be measured by short-term grant metrics.

Outcomes Management Systems: You will contribute to the continued build-out of GFC’s Salesforce-based outcomes management infrastructure — helping translate the logic of the system into accessible, usable practice for staff and partners, and maintaining the integrity of data quality over time.

Learning artefacts, partner-led research, and team capabilityYou may be asked to contribute to the design of briefs, frameworks, toolkits, and other formats that make our evidence and analysis useful to grassroots partners, donors, and sector peers. You will support partner-led research processes already underway, and help scope and seed new inquiries that will continue beyond the cover period .You will also provide L&E training and capability support to internal teams — translating evaluative thinking into accessible practice for colleagues who are not L&E specialists themselves.

    Qualifications & Key Competencies

    Required
    Practice and orientation

    • Senior-level experience in learning and evaluation within philanthropy, intermediary funding, or international social change contexts
    • A grounded, critical practice — sceptical of extractive data practices, fluent in evaluation as a site of power, and able to navigate the politics of the work without performing them
    • Demonstrated experience designing evaluation approaches rooted in decolonial, Indigenous, or community-led frameworks
    • The maturity to walk into live workstreams, pick them up, and steward them through a defined cover period

    Technical craft

    • Strong mixed-methods capability — from survey design and statistical analysis to focus groups, narrative inquiry, and participatory sense-making
    • Fluency with Theory of Change, logical frameworks, and outcomes mapping, with the critical awareness to know when these tools serve partners and when they constrain them
    • Ability to pair quantitative data with narrative context to produce honest, nuanced accounts of change
    • Experience designing learning products — frameworks, briefs, toolkits, reports — for varied audiences including grassroots partners, young people, donors, and sector peers
    • Experience with proposal development and grant reporting from both funder and grantee perspectives

    Communication and collaboration

    • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate complex findings for internal teams, grantees, donors, and young people
    • Culturally responsive — attentive to power and positionality in how feedback and findings are shared
    • Able to give honest, constructive critique while holding collegiality, and to build relationships quickly in a cover context

    Preferred

    • Experience building or contributing to outcomes management systems (Salesforce or equivalent)
    • Prior work in intermediary or re-granting contexts, with understanding of the layered power dynamics these create
    • Experience with participatory grantmaking models and the evaluative questions they raise
    • Experience in child and youth participatory evaluation
    • Sustained engagement across several countries in Asia, Africa , Europe and Central Asia, and/or Latin America.

    Languages:
Fluency in English required. Proficiency in one or more languages of GFC’s regions of work strongly preferred — French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, or Swahili

Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism

We value lived experience, cultural humility, and a learning mindset.
