Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and creative Volunteer Social Media Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies that drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and amplify our mission. As the Social Media Specialist, you will guide the design and copywriting teams to create compelling content. Additionaly, you will be responsible for analyzing performance metrics to optimize our online presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Design and execute social media strategies aligned with Jobs4Sudan’s goals to enhance engagement, reach, and brand awareness.
  • Content Creation: Guide the design and copywriting to develop and curate high-quality, relevant, and engaging content for our social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and infographics.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
  • Brand Voice: Ensure consistency in Jobs4Sudan’s brand voice and messaging across all social media channels.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to align social media efforts with broader marketing and outreach initiatives.
  • Trends and Insights: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure that Jobs4Sudan remains innovative and effective in its social media efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in social media management, preferably within a non-profit or volunteer-driven organization.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook) and their respective best practices.
  • Strong understanding of Sudanese communities and their needs and aspirations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics) is a plus.
  • Passion for making a difference and supporting the Sudanese community.
  • Strong command of both Arabic and English language is required.
