CIVICUS is looking for a new Secretary General to join us in fulfilling our mission of a thriving global civic space and civil society. Our new Secretary will lead the organization’s overall operations, ensuring a culture of high trust, high accountability, and high performance.

• Inspire CIVICUS members and networks to create a thriving civil society at local and global levels, embodying our vibrant and proactive of the organisation (representational leadership)
• steer the organization to strategic innovations and challenge existing norms and ways of thinking (strategic leadership)
• lead be example, build a culture of high trust and cultivate new ways of fulfilling our mission and growing together (organizational leadership)
• motivate our people and strengthen the culture of collaboration, confidence, and care (people leadership)
• uphold the values of the organization, lead innovation and change for a culture of excellence (values and change management).
