JOB PURPOSE

This role will be assigned with the responsibility of ensuring availability of products and services at branches and service points. This role will also ensure highest level of customer service by designing service delivery plan, recruit service people and initiate new service points where necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, design and revamp branch service guidelines with necessary amendments.
  • Develop and implement distribution strategies aligned with the organization’s financial inclusion objectives.
  • Oversee and enhance branch service network to maintain a high-quality service standard.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor practices to stay focused on best practices in the financial service sector and adapt those in the branches and service centers.
  • Formulate and execute comprehensive plans to distribute financial products and services effectively across various channels.
  • Collaborate with support functions aligning financial service distribution and driving implementation of new services.
  • Evaluate financial data to identify portfolio trends and provide key insights to management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant operational, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Conduct effective customer satisfaction survey and improve customer satisfaction.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • In-depth understanding of the financial services sector, including regulations, best practices, and market trends.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of branch operations, service guidelines, and distribution strategies.
  • Proficiency in conducting market research and competitor analysis.
  • Knowledge of operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in explaining complex financial concepts in an understandable manner to clients and prioritising the needs and interests of clients.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and regulatory environments.
  • Competence in making informed decisions independently and knowing when to escalate to supervisors.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors/ Masters in any discipline from any recognised university/ institution.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 3 years of working experience. Experience in development or financial sector will be given preference.
