JOB PURPOSE

This positions responsibility is loading and unloading of the inbound and outbound materials; maintain forklift / reach truck / VNA

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, pallet jacks, etc.), transport goods, stake and store goods safely move around the warehouse; products are organized according to safety and space standards
  • Execute load and unload inbound and outbound materials
  • Perform daily inspections of the forklift equipment and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards
  • Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
  • Maintain all safety protocols; keep aisles clear and maintain a clean of the warehouse environment
  • Perform equipment checks, recharge the battery, fill up lubricate, diesel and equipment daily
  • Remove machine attachments and waste materials from machines
  • Make a report of any accidents, incidents, or any potential hazards immediately to supervisors
  • Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Related experiences in store, distribution and warehouse will be given preference
  • Have knowledge on store management, product handling, food safety, management system, good warehouse practice
  • Have skill on safe driving, using of safety equipment, self-motivated and people management
  • Must be able to work in a team, flexible and multi-tasking
  • Have to work under pressure

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

The candidate must have SSC pass

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 1 year experience
