Cohort 2: Female Student Internship Program (FSIP)
Our Female Student Internship Program (FSIP) is a three-month transformative initiative aimed at empowering and nurturing the leadership potential of young women in South Sudan. This highly competitive program provides outstanding female students with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various sectors and industries, while also receiving mentorship, skill development, and networking opportunities.
This program fosters leadership skills, self-confidence, and a strong sense of civic responsibility hence preparing these young women to become positive change agents and future leaders, contributing to the social, economic, and political development of South Sudan.
Key Requirements:
  1. Must have a computer and smartphone.
  2. Should be familiar with internet and can work remotely (virtually).
Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) is a non-governmental and nonprofit organization based in South Sudan, established in September 2021 by a group of educated, dynamic, and like-minded youth. The prime motto of the organization is capacity building and service delivery to the people of society. Operating in different parts of South Sudan, the organization focuses on activities such as education, health and hygiene, youth and women empowerment, emergency response and preparedness, safety, mentorship, and human rights. It seeks to enlist the involvement of locals when initiating activities and to mobilize the community for peace, tolerance, and development.
We visualize a community where all residents in the Republic of South Sudan have the opportunity for a high quality life, including but not limited to: education, employment, shelter, health, food, and clothing, rich cultural offering, and the ability to give of themselves and connect with their community.
