About me
A Database and Application Support Administrator, I have five years’ experience in the Telecommunication industry and four years’ experience in the Banking industry. My expertise extends to database management, optimization, security, high availability and performance of 24/7 Online Transaction Processing databases. Key focus areas of my expertise have been to ensure maximum availability, minimize data loss and minimize recovery time during unforeseen outages.
In my current role as a Database Administrator at Steward Bank, I have been instrumental in ensuring database high availability by implementation of Oracle 19C clustered database for the core banking system. This architecture has provided 100% uptime. Furthermore, in a bid to ensure disaster recovery readiness I have setup of Oracle 19C Data Guard service. This service has ensured real time data synchronization between production database and standby database.
