    I support data collection, quality assurance, and reporting for regional education programs for the USAID funded Kenya Primary Literacy Program (KPLP) in Laikipia, Kirinyaga, Isiolo, Tharaka Nithi, Marsabit, Meru, Nyeri and Samburu Counties, ensuring accurate and reliable data for decision-making.     I led the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) activities for the USAID-funded Team Sayari TV Series for children in Kenya, Tanzania, and Rwanda. I developed a USAID-compliant MEL Plan, incorporating a Theory of Change, Logical Framework, and Results Framework. To enhance efficiency, I introduced mobile data collection tools like Open Data Kit (ODK) and KoBo Collect for key assessments. I supported program teams in data collection, analysis, and reporting, ensuring timely progress tracking. I also developed learning strategies to assess impact and refine program quality.     I coordinated the Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) system at both the Nairobi and field levels, providing oversight for M&E Officers, supporting monitoring activities, training data collectors, and managing project databases. I ensured the Country Office and national partners implemented a well-prioritized Integrated Monitoring, Evaluation & Research Plan (IMEP) to generate relevant and strategic insights.     I led needs assessments for urban refugees in Nairobi and Kakuma, as well as a study on barriers to school enrolment in Baidoa for Save the Children – Somalia. This involved designing methodologies, training enumerators, analyzing data, and reporting findings. I developed both paper-based and mobile data collection tools (KoBoCollect) in collaboration with INTERSOS, Save the Children, and HAFC. I also conducted training sessions on qualitative research methods, coding, project management, and interview techniques (FGDs, KIIs, IDIs). For data analysis, I used R, Excel, SPSS, and STATA for cleaning, coding, and interpretation. I ensured timely submission of inception, interim, and final reports. Additionally, I managed project design and implementation, supervising data collection and ensuring quality results. Through my efforts, I strengthened research capacity, improved data accuracy, and provided actionable insights to inform program decisions for humanitarian organizations.
