    I has been the Land Coordinator Assistant for a specific and unique project on LIFT, which implements the introduction of best practices to the Government of Ethiopia’s Woreda Land Administration Offices – The Model Woreda project. The Model Woreda project is a joint venture, agreed with the Rural Land Administration and Use Directorate (RLAUD) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources (MoANR) in coordination with the following 4 key donor-sponsored programmes: For the last 1.8 years (December 2019 until July 2021), I was the lead monitoring manager for the Model Woreda project, overseeing the design and implementation of all monitoring and reporting processes which included the line management of four regional staff based in Model Woreda offices in Oromia, Tigray, Amhara, and SNNPR. I has developed budgets and work plans to implement the monitoring for the Model Woreda project through the four regional Model Woreda monitors. I then led independently on the implementation of the work plans and monitored the performance of regional staff closely. I was also central to improving the capacity of staff, training on data collection tools and monitoring tools, and facilitate technical assistance to the Woreda Land Administration staff.
