    Project Officer

    • Monitor and evaluate management/data-review meetings in the hospitals and write reports on data gathered ensuring good practices are adopted and shared • Developed and standardised tools and standard of procedure manuals for use in Infection Prevention Control activities and Surgical Site Infection Surveillance handbook in Lusaka First Level Hospitals. • Monitor and evaluate how the developed tools are being utilized and compile comprehensive reports on the activities such as surgical site infection surveillance on a monthly basis • Trained various cadre from the First Level Hospitals, Lusaka Provincial and District Health Offices in strategic planning and management through tools such as the balanced score cards. • Supported Lusaka First Level Hospitals and the Ministry of Health in the 2023/204 cholera outbreak through outbreak preparedness in terms of management capacity and infection prevention and control protocols at cholera treatment centres in the health facilities and the national stadium • In charge of project report writing for the Joint Coordinating Committee which comprises of the Ministry of Health, Lusaka Provincial and District Health Offices, Five First Level Hospitals, JICA and other stakeholders that documents, assesses and presents the projects yearly success • Supported project administration in budgeting and procurement.
