I am currently serving as the Programme Manager II for the Strategic Change Platform 4 Urban Malaria Research Project at Catholic Relief Services (CRS). In this role, I lead innovative research initiatives aimed at combating urban malaria, ensuring strategic alignment and impactful outcomes. Previously, I excelled as the Community Engagement Project Officer within the same project, where I supported the Transform Freetown Consortium Project. With over 8 years of experience in development and emergency programs with both international and local NGOs, I have honed my expertise predominantly in the Western Area. My tenure at Save the Children in the Western Area Urban and Rural Districts saw me in various capacities, including Assistant Programme Officer – Health, Health Programme Officer, and Acting Partnership Adviser. These roles allowed me to develop and implement health programs that significantly improved community health outcomes. At Restless Development Sierra Leone, I served as the “Pull Slum Per Pipul” (PSPP) Project Coordinator, where I was accountable for the overall planning, implementation, and evaluation of the project targeting 23 Western Area slum communities in partnership with CODOHSAPA and FEDURP. My leadership ensured the successful delivery of project goals and enhanced community resilience. Additionally, I led the implementation of the DFID-Funded Consortium Public Financial Management (PFM) Project as a Programme Coordinator. In collaboration with Christian Aid and the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), I provided day-to-day technical support to four district field officers, focusing on community and stakeholder engagement to curb corruption and increase awareness of tax collection and utilization.
