Josiah Murambiwa is a passionate child rights advocate with over four years of experience in project management, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement. His career has been dedicated to addressing critical issues such as child trafficking, labor, and gender-based violence. Currently serving as a Project Officer at the Coalition Against Child Labor in Zimbabwe, Josiah has led impactful initiatives that promote child safety and safeguarding in various capacities.
Josiah’s academic background in Risk Management and Insurance from the National University of Science and Technology, Zimbabwe, complements his practical skills in designing tools, conducting training, and coordinating events. His expertise lies in addressing gender norms, masculinities, and child protection, particularly in digital and online spaces.
Josiah is highly skilled in research, policy development, and drafting comprehensive reports for stakeholders, including donors. He is adept at collaborating with international teams, balancing multiple priorities, and communicating effectively to achieve shared goals.
A fluent English speaker and a native Shona speaker, Josiah also possesses basic knowledge of Finnish. His commitment to safeguarding and human rights, coupled with his ability to translate complex concepts into actionable strategies, makes him a valuable asset in advancing ECPAT International’s mission to create gender-sensitive child safety policies in online gaming environments.
