About me
I am a biostatistician with over 10 years of experience in public health programs focusing on global
health security. I have supported the design, development, implementation, monitoring, and
evaluation using core data management principles for key public health programs such as
Infectious disease outbreaks of COVID-19, Lassa Fever, Measles, Polio, mpox, Cholera, Meningitis,
including priority diseases like Malaria, TB/HIV, and other vaccine-preventable diseases (VPD).
As a frontline public health manager, I am an experienced outbreak investigator, with excellent
communication and leadership competencies. I am also skillful in building and managing
partnerships, networking, and strategic collaborations. My additional soft skills include proficiency
in financial management, especially budget literacy, and familiarity with the USG grant and
cooperative management systems.
My commitment and dedication to data management during my work have spurred me to gain in
depth proficiency in using various applications like KoboCollect, SurveyCTO, and ODK among
others. In the past, I have had first-hand experience using NOMIS for OVC data management and
reporting, RADET for data uploads and validation, SPSS, R-program (tidy verse suite: dplyr, tidyr,
rland), MTB, QGIS, for data sorting, analysis, reporting and building visualization dashboards. I
have also supported modeling and projections using Eview for trends and forecasting analysis,
DHIS2, Epi-INFO, Epidata, and other Excel-based applications for data-related tasks.
