Lead/Director, Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL)| Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) funded E-Pharmacy for Family Planning Digital Health Innovation Project Consortium
● Support the implementation of the four-year Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) funded $6 million family planning digital innovation project in Lagos State, christened E-Pharma for FP. ● Supervise all consortium of partners (Busara Centre for Behavioural Economics, Health Plus, and PSN Foundation) with the Society for Family Health (SFH) as the prime. ● Supervise and provide mentorship for junior monitoring and evaluation officers in the program support unit. ● Facilitate review of monthly work plan reviews and updates with the Program Director. ● Lead on data visualization and generation of high-level analytics to shape project implementation and impact delivery. ● Provide technical oversight in developing and implementing evaluation activities. ● Guide monitoring and evaluation of data management processes that enable the systematic collection, collation, processing, analysis and interpretation, and use of data. ● Work with the program lead to design a comprehensive annual work plan, clearly articulating the activities and identifying those responsible for each of the program deliverables. ● Support the program lead with quarterly report writing in collaboration with program leads and provide management of M&E activities. ● Liaise with colleagues (as relevant) to ensure that lessons learned and recommendations from M&E activities are used to modify existing programs and design of new activities. ● Assist with the evaluation of current program indicators and the identification of new ones. ● Monitor data collection, collation, storage, analysis, and reporting ensuring data is audit-worthy. ● Ensure program staff is using data collected to make informed and timely decisions related to program implementation. ● Facilitate regular data quality audits to verify and authenticate data emanating from the project field activities. ● Develop a plan to strengthen staff and other implementing partners’ capacity to monitor and evaluate the project. ● Lead the management of project Management Information System (DHIS2). ● Work with the management teams and program leads to design indicators that align with organizational strategic directions. ● Monitor the progress of organizational impact indicators against the target set for the strategic plan period (2019 – 2023). ● Manage organizational research and evaluation activities in Ghana, Sierra Leone, and Liberia. ● Develop M&E systems and activities in proposal writing.
