My name is Ahmed Al-Kilani, am sending you this to express my interest in joining your esteemed organization.

I have 18+ years of combined private sector, governmental and international development experience, having worked for several USAID programs, Government of Jordan, the private sector, International Organizations.

As a professional, I will bring hands-on and practical Procurement policies and procedures to create a healthy and in compliance with the organizational procurement guidelines and procedures.

Being exposed to a variety of systems allowed me to absorb several procurement methodologies and practices being used by the donors and the government of Jordan, and the private sector equally.

During my career, I have acquired strong and rich experience in contracting process including but not limited to: Grants, subcontracts, subawards, several level procurements, developing procurement manuals and SOPs, providing trainings to staff on the procurement process, developing the required templates in compliance with both applied regulations and internal corporate bylaws.

I have very strong knowledge of financial regulations, IFRS – GAAP and USAID accounting and reporting standards. I also have assisted several clients with registration procedures of the Jordanian Government and financial service providers, I also have strong experience in the logistic operation including but not limited to: renting apartments, finding suitable office space, and transportation, hiring local assistants, opening tax and social security files, and all of the government related paper work and procedures.  .

I possess extensive knowledge and experience in, projects start up and close out, assets disposition, procurement and HR procedures, capacity building of new staff, Excellent management and leadership skills beyond my SOW,  that include leading and managing staff from different department by motivation, coaching, empowering and encouraging them to get the best performance out of them, this is because I am not only satisfied by knowing the responsibilities of my department, but also the other departments so myself and my team have knowledge of all the aspects of the organization.

I also performed as the Field (Jordan) Security Focal Point, with tasks include but not limited to: conducting periodic safety and security drills (fire, shelter in place, emergency phone tree protocol, evacuation…etc.), train the staff on safety and security measures, liaise between professional training providers and the organization, participate in developing safety and security manual and policies, brief the new comers (locals and Expatriate staff) on the security measures and protocols of the office building.

    Contracts and Pricing Manager (CPM) is responsible for the effective management and administration of Q2 Impact’s Prime Contracts and Awards, Subcontracts and Subawards, procurement and grants programs, as well as compiling cost proposals. The CPM will report to the Director of Contracts, Pricing, and Risk Management and have direct supervision over assigned contracts and pricing staff.
