Title: Communications Coordinator
Reports to: Sr. Communications Manager

Summary:
The Communications Coordinator supports the execution of YOURS’ communication
strategy by managing content creation, digital media, and website updates. This role
ensures that YOURS’ communications remain engaging, visually compelling, and aligned
with our vision and mission.
Overview
The Communications Coordinator is responsible for producing high-quality multimedia
content and maintaining updated digital platforms to enhance YOURS’ visibility and
engagement. This includes supporting the development of graphics, video content, and
web updates, as well as assisting in coordinating multiple communication projects.
Working closely with the Senior Communications Manager, the role requires strong
organisational skills, creativity, and attention to detail to ensure the smooth execution of
communication efforts across various channels.
The main duties and responsibilities are:
1. Content Creation & Digital Media
a. Develop and manage visual and written content for social media,
newsletters, reports, and campaigns.
b. Ensure all materials align with YOURS’ branding, principles and
communication guidelines.

educating policymakers on meaningful youth participation.
c. Lead the social media content planning, scheduling, and engagement
tracking, supervised by the Sr. Communications Manager.
2. Website/Software Management, Maintainance & Administration
a. Create a system to ensure all websites are consistently updated on time,
reflecting the impact of our work.
b. Maintain and update the various websites and online platforms we have
at the organisational and project levels. Ensure all messages received
through our different channels are correctly and timely responded to and
forwarded to the right point person for a proper follow-up.
c. Manage the correct functioning of YOURS mailing distribution software,
ensuring databases are up to date and segmented accordingly.

3. Graphic Design & Video Editing
a. Create high-quality graphics to accompany YOURS Communications
calendar, involving all projects, activities and areas of work. Edit and
produce social media, events, and digital engagement videos using Adobe
Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Canva Video.
b. Ensure consistency in visual branding across all communication
channels.
4. Project Coordination & Workflow Management
a. Organise and track multiple projects simultaneously using task
management tools.
b. Work closely with the communications team to ensure the timely delivery
of all communicational activities identified in the annual planning.
c. Coordinate with external partners and contributors as needed.
d. Support in collecting and analysing key communication metrics, including
social media performance, website traffic, and engagement data, to
inform content decisions.
5. Campaign & Event Support
a. Assist in developing creative assets for digital campaigns, advocacy
initiatives, and global events.
b. Support live event coverage, setup/administration of live session
platforms, and post-event content development.
Qualifications & Requirements
Knowledge & Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Marketing,
or a related field.
● At least 3 years of experience in a communications, design, or content-focused
role.
● Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
● Proven skills in graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva), video production,
and content coordination.

● Strong experience in website content management (WordPress, Squarespace
preferred).
● Experience working remotely in multicultural environments and independently in
a structured work environment.
Skills & Personal Attributes
● Native-level English proficiency (mandatory).
● Strong design and content creation skills using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator,
Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Canva.
● Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet
deadlines.
● Familiarity with Trello or other project management tools.
● Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects at once.
●
● Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
More information:
● This position is for 32 hours per week – 1,440 hours per year.
● Starting date: May 5, 2025.
● Location: Remote with a stable internet connection.
● International travel may be required.
● Compensation: Commensurate with experience and location.
