Stakeholder and Community Engagement Coordinator
Leading the stakeholder and community engagement components in UKAID Match project “turning plastic and other waste into green products, to improve the environment and health” in Karachi. Designed behaviour and communication change (BCC) strategy and roll out plan and successfully implementation in project communities. Developed an effective stakeholder engagement plan and worked in partnership with Local Government and Sindh Solid Waste Management Board (SSWMB). In collaboration with SSWMB an innovative waste management and recycling model has been developed for improved and sustainable waste management solutions. Designed, developed and managed the recycling facility to treat 18 tonnes solid waste every day. Converting the green waste into organic compost using aerobic composting method. Producing plastic pallets and waste dustbins by recycling the plastic polythene bags.
