BACKGROUND

We only have 8 years to half buildings sector GHG emissions and be on a zero-emissions path. GBPN is tackling this challenge by decarbonising the building sector through policy reform. This requires a collective effort.

GBPN is a system-wide network NGO working to reform building sector policy to limit global warming. Formerly a think tank, GBPN now works on innovative projects in key regions of the world where it can have the most impact.

GBPN works using a unique coalition model that connects local policymakers and building professionals with industry-leading experts to reform building policies to achieve zero-emissions goals. We combine global insights with local action changing building policy through education, support and collaboration.

We’re changing the conversation, highlighting the climate, health, economic and environmental benefits of policy reform.

Our primary audiences are government policy and decision makers, industry practitioners and experts working within the building sector to assist in limiting climate change (e.g academics, researchers, developers, designers, renewable energy experts etc).

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Creative Solutions Unit serves as an internal creative services function offering professional communications, design and digital services to our regional project teams. Its goal is to streamline delivery and costs while ensuring high quality and brand adherence in our project outputs that have a communications focus. This also frees up technical teams to focus on what they do best – technical project delivery.

The Creative Solutions PM role is responsible for managing implementation of project communications requests, alongside the Digital and Design Coordinator. Activities include:

  • Coordinate effective delivery of ticketed requests.
  • Provide advice on best practice for project communications deliverables. Project Communications is distinct from brand/corporate communications in that it includes activity that directly supports project implementation and project deliverables in the regions.
  • Provide project management of a global calendar of activity on behalf of multiple project regions (Indonesia, India, Africa, China).
  • Provide copywriting and simple graphic design services across a broad range of marketing products in support of project deliverables, including flyers, web pages, email invitations, pitch decks and other presentations, stakeholder engagement tools etc.
  • Provide referral of brand content opportunities to the Global Communications team.
  • Assist with quality control of content created by the Creative Solutions team.
  • Manage the overall calendar of the Creative Solutions team; briefing the Digital and Design Coordinator and booking external resources as needed to ensure the internal team is not overloaded.
  • Liaise with regional teams.
  • Attend meetings as required to obtain briefs, manage workload and update Global team members.
  • Contributing to quarterly reporting.
  • Other tasks as required.
